A home from home at the end of life

FAQ ; commonly asked questions

Can residents bring their pets with them?

Recognising the important role of a loved family pet in many people’s lives, we do our best to accommodate residents’ pets provided that they are house-trained, wormed and socialised.  However, the resident is responsible for all costs related to the animal (e.g. food, veterinary expenses, etc.).  Before entry into la Maison de Tara, arrangements must be made for the future care of the animal on the resident’s death or transfer to another institution.

About us

La Maison de Tara was founded in Geneva in 2007 as a public utility charity in the lineage of the Hospice Movement. Its goal is to provide patients and their family, with care and support during the last days of life.
