Are costs reimbursed by insurance?
The medical and home care organization costs are reimbursed by insurance, which treat LMdT as a ‘maintien à domicile’. The bills are sent directly to the patient and not via LMdT which has no involvement in their payment. The CHF200 room and board cost is not reimbursed by insurance.

La Maison de Tara was founded in Geneva in 2007 as a public utility charity in the lineage of the Hospice Movement. Its goal is to provide patients and their family, with care and support during the last days of life.
